As a first-generation immigrant from a low-income family, Jenny has experienced first-hand the difference that a quality education can make in someone’s life and is fully committed to investing in and building organizations that are making significant advancement in improving the quality, accessibility, and reach of education.
Jenny was an MBA intern at Owl Ventures in the summer of 2019. Before joining Owl, Jenny was an investor at George Soros’ Family Office, Soros Fund Management, where she evaluated and executed growth equity and buyout opportunities across sectors in partnership with top-tier management teams. Prior to Soros, Jenny was an investment banker at Barclays where she advised clients on cross border M&A transactions.
Jenny graduated from Queen’s University where she earned a Bachelor of Commerce, with First Class Honours with Distinction, and was a varsity athlete. Jenny was an Education Pioneer Fellow and she received her M.B.A from Stanford Graduate School of Business, where she was an Arbuckle Leadership Fellow, and her M.A. in Education from Stanford Graduate School of Education.
