"The industry recognizes Owl as the leaders in EdTech investment. That expertise made them more than an investment partner; Owl is an invaluable addition to our team. They continually look for a way to add value both in and outside of the boardroom. They've made connections with other CEOs and potential customers and have helped us with business analysis."
Kuali began in 2004 as a nonprofit, open-source community initiative for developing higher-education administrative systems that provided better long-term alternatives to what was available. Founding members included Indiana University, the University of Arizona, the University of Hawaii, Michigan State University, San Joaquin Delta Community College, Cornell University, the National Council for College and University Business Officers (NACUBO), and rSmart. In 2014, Kuali, Inc. was created to focus efforts on accelerating software development, improving the Kuali user experience and bringing Kuali products to the cloud. Today, more than 130 institutions are using Kuali’s open, modular, cloud-based software.
